Evening Jazz presents the latest in instrumental and vocal jazz releases, as well as great classic jazz tracks. The Jazz Calendar shared during the 8 p.m. hour keeps you updated on local jazz venues and performers.

Host Charles Husson joined HPR as a board operator in 1994, became Operations Director in 2002, and is currently Facilities Manager. As a musician, he played bass in his high school jazz band, then continued as a bassist and keyboardist in several bands, playing everything from disco to jazz, rock, and gospel.
